Is This Different From a Printed Haynes Manual?
Autofix isn’t a printed Haynes Manual, but it has plenty of other benefits! With its interactive fault finder and diagnostic tools, you can quickly understand and resolve common electronic and wiring issues. Even if you choose to leave the repair to a professional, you'll have a better understanding of what's wrong when you take it to the workshop.
Please note: Autofix is a worldwide product. You will sometimes see RHD (right hand drive) or LHD (left hand drive) mentioned. On location diagrams, we sometimes have LHD drawings only; but they do apply to RHD vehicles in a mirror image.

How to Diagnose & Clear Fault Closes with Autofix
A fault code reader is a vital tool in any mechanic's arsenal. That's because modern vehicle electrical systems are complicated things, and if there’s a problem with the engine management or electrical systems, the vehicle may generate a fault code.
Now we’re not saying you need to carry these around in your boot at all times (though it wouldn’t be a bad idea). We are, however, suggesting that if you own a car, you should at least own these five tools. You’re going to call on them one day, and when that day comes, you’ll be thankful.
Dtc p0300, like all fault codes, isn't something that'll pop up on your dashboard with the warning lights. You'll need to plug a cheap-to-buy fault code reader into your car's OBD socket to find out what's to blame for the red or amber dash light.
