About Haynes Publishing

Haynes Publishing is a market leader in practical DIY servicing and repair advice for a huge range of vehicles.

The story of Haynes begins in 1954 with John Haynes, then still at school, rebuilding the wreck of an Austin 7 as a '750 Special'. John wrote, illustrated and printed a small booklet describing the project.

The first official title from Haynes & Co Ltd was publishing (the Haynes Owners Workshop Manual: Austin-Healey Sprite, if you were wondering), with thousands more makes, models and vehicles covered in the decades to follow.

Today, Haynes is the home to many others automotive repair brands including Rellim, I&T, Gregory's and Clymer Manuals. The extensive range includes everything from classic cars and motorcycles to modern cars, tractors, ATVs, snowmobiles and marine craft, and is available in a range of printed books and new, online products.
