Ash Rowland
This Kawasaki has a BIG problem!
Here's an update on Ash's ZX-10 from 1989, which we first saw in an earlier YouTube highlights blog.
He's got it running, but it's far from ready to ride because the brakes are seized. Off come the front and rear calipers for a spot of refurbishing via plenty of elbow grease. Followed by reassembly and bleeding.
Then there's a leaking clutch slave cylinder. Cue more refurbishment and more bleeding.
Followed by what should be a simple task: changing the engine oil and filter. Except Ash encounters a bodge job that can't be re-bodged without risking potential disaster. Find out what that is later in the video.
The Late Brake Show
Rescuing First Audi RS left in a Glastonbury Field
Do you remember the RS2, a mid-’90s collaboration between Audi and Porsche that resulted in one of the best 'Q cars' yet – one that could outperform a McLaren F1 (at least from 0-30mph)?
Jonny Smith's video focuses on an example that's been off the road (in a Somerset orchard, almost within earshot of the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury) for a good many years. RS2 Avants go for a pretty penny, though, so maybe this one's worth rescuing? He calls in Audi master tech Ricky Elder to give it the once over before attempting a revival.

BMW X5 M50d 3L: Triple Turbo, Triple Trouble? NO BOOST
If this one doesn't make you grimace, we're not sure what will. Haynes is here to help you work on your own vehicles, instead of getting a garage to do it for you, and this particular job has cost the BMW's owner $6800. Much of that will have been for the labour involved to remove the X5's engine so the THREE turbos can be replaced. But just imagine how much a main dealer would have charged.
True, this task would test the patience of the most experienced home mechanic. It's scary stuff!
