Wiper blade replacement Volkswagen Caddy 2004 - 2015

Wiper blade replacement Volkswagen Caddy 2004 - 2015

1 minute read

Volkswagen Caddy

2004 - 2015
Time
5 to 25 minutes
Difficulty
1 Check the condition of the wiper blades: if they are cracked or show signs of deterioration, or if the glass swept area is smeared, renew them. For maximum clarity of vision, wiper blades should be renewed annually
2 To remove a windscreen wiper blade, turn the ignition on, then turn the ignition off, and press the wiper switch stalk down once. This places the arms in the ‘service’ position. Lift the wiper from the screen and press the securing clip
3 Slide the blade upwards from the end of the wiper arm, taking care not to allow the wiper arm to spring back and damage the windscreen. When completed, return the blades to the park position by pressing the wiper switch stalk again
4 Some models have a wiper blade that lifts off
5 To remove the rear wiper blade, tilt the wiper blade away from the screen, depress the side tabs...
6 ...and unhook the blade
